FAQ

What is coaching?

Coaching is one-on-one development sessions customized to help you grow and reach your goals. These are private, confidential sessions with an experienced professional to discuss a number of topics and issues related to where you are and where you want to go. Coaching is intensified mentorship that charts a course based on your experiences, education, and talent. Coaching usually includes professional career development, leadership topics, addressing crisis and conflict situations. It also addresses holistic life/work balance, education, and charity aspects. Coaching is not counseling or therapy. Our coaches pledge to prompt you if / when counseling or other professional assistance may be necessary for your health or well-being.

Who can benefit from coaching?

We believe everyone can gain value from coaching. Current executives, managers, future leaders, and anyone that prioritizes personal growth and learning can all benefit.

How much does coaching cost?

Coaching is typically billed hourly and is based on the number of sessions booked and the time commitment to help you reach your goals. We do provide non-profit rates for charities and NGOs.

How do I know which coach is right for me?

Explore our list of coaches to see which of our team members align with your needs and goals. Feel free to book a discovery session with more than one coach to determine not only competency but also chemistry.

How much time do I need to commit to coaching?

This depends on your goals and situation. We have found that two, 60 minute sessions each month is ideal to work toward your goals but some increase the number of sessions while working towards a new job, promotion, or during a crisis season.

Is there ever a situation where I may switch coaches?

Yes. This is common based on your dynamic situation and also chemistry. Feel free to contact us to discover a different coach or let your coach know if your goals or direction somehow changes.

What can I expect from a discovery call?

Our 30 minute discovery sessions are designed to help you better understand what coaching is (and is not) and to get to know our team. In order to maximize this time, you should come prepared with your personal goals as well as a list of questions to ask our coach.

What can I expect from a coaching session?

You set the agenda. Our team of coaches work with you to set your personal goals, create a roadmap toward growth and development, and identify a list of topics to discuss and work through. Often, coaches will assign additional reading or resources to help you with specific topics and issues.
